Motor's Out

The 6 point socket and the breaker bar got the motor mount bolt loose and later we were able to lift out the old ICE. It's done its job of dumping around 60 to 70 tons of CO2 into the air.

Later we separated the motor and tranny.
I still have to remove the flywheel from the old ICE. So now things are moving along.

Hi! It's good to see another blog on the progress of a conversion from the beginning - I bought my EV already Plated and running - but with poorly maintained batteries - and some serious body work to do so began at that stage. See my site at http://www.myelectricfly.com - there is a link to my blog on that.

Thanks for dropping by, I'm using the full VoltsRabbit Kit from ElectroAuto. Thankfully my donor (Cabby) is in pretty good shape and doesn't need any bodywork. I think the paint will buff out pretty good though it has a few rock chips. The top needs a good cleaning.
